Independence Day Honor the birth of our nation as we celebrate on the Fourth of July — America's Happy Birthday and our Independence Day!

This immensely special holiday marks our country's founding on July 4, 1776. With the parades, community gatherings, barbecues and good food, adorned in Red, White and Blue, watcching our fireworks . . and full of patriotism, we cherish our heritage. All-American, with family vibes!

Cherish the liberty and freedom defined in our Declaration of Independence and Constitution! All symoolized by our beautiful American flag. Be ever so proud, enjoy our traditions, and make memories.

July 2–4, 2026 – KINGSLAND AQUABOOM: Kingsland, at Kingsland Community Center, 3451 Rose Hill Dr. Map. Chamber Web Event Web. Sanctioned BBQ cook-off featuring brisket, ribs, chicken, beans, and showmanship divisions, with turn-in times across both days; onsite setup, judging, and awards coordinated through the Kingsland Chamber. Part of the annual multi-day AquaBoom celebration with children’s parade, land parade, arts and crafts vendors, Wild West show, helicopter rides, patriotic dinner, fish fry, street dance, poker run, horseshoe and washer tournaments, obstacle race, raft race, rubber duckie race, boat parade, pageant, golf tournament and fireworks. July 4, 2026 - 4TH OF JULY PET PARADE: Bandera, at City Park, 1102 Maple Street. All pets from horses to turtles to dogs, birds, cats, etc. are welcome. No admission or pet entry fee. July 4, 2026 – JULY JUBILEE DANCE & CELEBRATION: Brady, at G. Rollie White Downs, 1104 S Bridge St. Map. Web. Parade: 10a, starts on Memory Lane and travels to the downtown square. Mud volleyball at Brady Lake, typically starting around noon. Street dance on the downtown square with gates usually opening at 5p and dance beginning around 6:30p. Admission fee and cooler tag fee. Evening festivities feature vendors, food, live music, and fireworks at 9:30p. Children’s Parade begins 9:30a down Main St to Buda City Park; free with no registration required. Annual event. Annual event on the banks of the beautiful Llano River. Parking & Admission: Free. Chamber Web, Web. Event Web. Sat, 9a-11p. State Championship BBQ Cook Off. Chuck wagon enthusiasts get together on the banks of the Llano River and go back in time to an era when the west was settled.
